Steve's varied carpentry experience in residential renovations is an essential factor is his success. Because there are so many elements in renovations, it is important to find a contractor with a varied skill set - from framing to finishing and everything in between. Steve is involved with every aspect of the renovation process from the development of the estimate and design through to project completion. He strongly supports and encourages green renovation methods and the use of eco-freindly building materials wherever possible. Steve's attention to details, eye for design, and professional approach to any size job set him apart from the competition.
Steve has worked hard to put together a team of skilled and reliable employees, sub-contractors and tradespeople. Markie Price - Project Manager and Office Manager
Markie joined the 2 Hills Renovation team in 2009 to take over office management and project management. She brought strong organizational skills to the team, along with a bright outlook on the business, and fresh management, marketing, and design ideas.
Overseeing all of the communications and documentation of project information, Markie is your key point of contact for the renovation. She develops and manages contracts, estimates, budgets, schedules and timelines for each project while never compromising quality of work or design integrity. In addition, Markie oversees the coordination of the job site including materials and scheduling sub-trades.
Her most important role is customer relations and communications. She acts as a liason between the client, contractor, and trades. Markie maintains close working relationships with all of 2Hills Renovation's suppliers and vendors and is responsible for product selection, purchasing and negotiating. She also works as a Junior Designer at Denise Mitchell Interiors and is able to provide design insight on each project. She works closely with a Senior Designer and CAD technician to maximize design and renovation potential.
Markie's background in customer service, planning, office management, and interior design, along with a diploma in Business Management make her a well-rounded, client-focussed Project Manager.
